- The sources shown above use these five main criteria in assessing how space affects pedagogy: Delivering, Applying, Creating, Communicating, Decision Making. It is important that spaces be flexible, personalizible, and allow students a sense of ownership
- Variety of learning spaces including:

- Space for an individual to personalize and in which to work and study
- Gathering place for learners and teachers
- A common space to start a learning activity, ask for help, share ideas, and come together for discussion
- Collaborative Areas -->
- Encourages team teaching and informal discussions among restorative practitioners
- Communication space space with access to resources and display space for group work
- Presentation Space -->
- Allows both students and teachers to present work and receive feedback from their given community
- Individual Pod -->
- Quiet, secluded spaces for individuals or small group
- Breakout Space
- More informal areas that allow students to gather away from the main classroom
- Allows for individual reflection and informal discussion
